When upgrading your harvest equipment, consider the eight new John Deere T6 and T6 walker combines. The new harvesters range from the T5 400 with a 6.8-litre 305-horsepower (224-kilowatt) engine to the T6 800 with the JD9X 9-litre 466-HP (343-kW) engine.

The new combines incorporate the cabin introduced with John Deere’s X9 Series, which includes LED lighting, a corner post display, ActiveSeat II, and an electronic dust-sealing door. Operators can customise the CommandPRO joystick to their liking and have access to precision ag features such as the StarFire 7500 receiver, the G5 CommandCenter display, and JDLink connectivity.

“The introduction of our new T5 and T6 combines represents a significant step forward in harvesting technology in the walker combines industry,” says John Deere Product Marketing Manager for Europe, Jonathan Edwards. “They will provide farmers with the tools they need to enhance productivity and efficiency in the field.”

    Powerful Options

Models equipped with Deere’s JD9X engine have intelligent speed management, which reduces engine rpm during road transport and when stationary to increase fuel efficiency. All T5 and T6 models are compliant with Stage V emissions standards.

    Enhanced Harvesting

The feeder house is designed to be the same width as the rest of the crop channel to improve flow through the combine. This, combined with the large threshing and separation area, enhances the harvesting performance of the T5 and T6. The model year 2025 combines new options for grain handling and tanks available, increasing capacity by as much as 23%.

    Packed With Precision Ag Technology

The G5 CommandCenter display has a high-definition 12.8-inch screen and intuitive controls. Operators can add the optional G5Plus extended monitor to control multiple functions simultaneously. For example, an operator could view vehicle control functions on the primary display and AutoPath or Grain Sensing on the extended monitor.

    Unmatched Cabin Comfort

The combines’ spacious 3.68-cubic-metre (130-cubic-foot) cab has a pressurised interior and an electronic dust-sealing door to keep dust and debris outside. The cabin has 10 conveniently placed 12-volt and USB charging points for any devices the operator needs.

The ergonomic CommandPRO joystick can store different settings for each operator on the touchscreen display for personalised control. With the optional ActiveSeat II, the operator has fully adjustable electronic controls, all-round cooling, and electronic suspension technology.

The combine’s infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to make long harvest days pass by easier.
