New Case IH Quadtrac & Steiger Tractors Get Maximum Horsepower
Case IH has upgraded its 2024 lineup of Quadtrac and Steiger Advanced Farming System (AFS) Connect high-horsepower tractors with 11 new models. Available in wheel and track variants, the new tractors provide greater engine power, numerous cab updates for greater operator comfort, and enhanced fuel efficiency.
Highest-Horsepower Articulated Tractors
The Quadtrac and Steiger AFS Connect tractors have Cursor 13 engines ranging from 467 to 699 peak horsepower (343 to 514 kilowatts), the industry’s highest for articulated tractors. The upgraded engines offer up to 35% improved response time, according to Case IH, and come with PowerDrive powershift transmissions.
The tractors also have an updated fuel system with next-generation fuel injection and a new fuel lift pump that simplifies fuel supply routing.
Case IH Cabs Level Up
The updated tractors have redesigned cabs that provide more front console storage, new RAM mount options for easier display mounting, a new premium sound option, and more. Case IH says the changes result in greater operator comfort and convenience.
There’s also a new rooftop design with different available light options, including a top-level option that promises better nighttime visibility thanks to a 66% performance boost.
“We know that extended time out in the field takes a toll on operators,” says Case IH Product Marketing Manager David Mckeown. “That’s why we’ve prioritised these upgrades because we know in-cab convenience is just as important as in-field productivity."
Monitor & Manage Farming Operations
AFS Connect precision farming technology helps growers manage farm operations, track fleet assets, share agronomic data, and more, anytime and from any device. For 2024, Quadtrac and Steiger AFS Connect owners can opt to equip the cab with a second AFS Pro 1200 display to simultaneously view and monitor separate ISOBUS implements.
Buyers can also choose to include AFS AccuSync and AFS AccuTurn technologies. AccuSync allows for connecting multiple machines and importing and sharing guidance and map information with other operators. AccuTurn enables automatic turns and enhanced auto-guidance capabilities with the push of a button.
