New Holland To Show Off New Power Command Transmission Option For T7 LWB Tractors At Agritechnica
New Holland Agriculture recently introduced T7 Long Wheelbase tractor models with a new Power Command transmission and Precision Land Management (PLM) Intelligence technology. The manufacturer also made other announcements about the upcoming Agritechnica 2023 global agricultural fair scheduled to run 12 to 18 November in Hannover, Germany. New Holland plans to debut its new flagship combine harvester on the first day of the show.
New Holland’s T7 LWB Gets A Powershift Option
The robust new Power Command full powershift transmission option helps the T7 LWB tractor excel at fieldwork, New Holland says. It shifts among 19 ratios with the push of a button or a move of the operator’s Command Grip handle. The Power Command is available in long-wheelbase T7 tractor models up to the T7.260 LWB.
The T7 LWB Power Command’s PLM Intelligence solutions include the new IntelliField feature, which can share information in real time with as many as six machines working in the same field. IntelliTurn and Headland Turn Sequencer II technologies now support a GPS trigger activation point.
New Holland’s Ground Speed Management II control package, introduced in the T6 Dynamic Command tractor range, facilitates greater fuel economy in the T7 LWB Power Command. The operator can set a target travel speed, and the tractor will automatically maintain it with the lowest engine rpm. The T7 LWB Power Command is also available with the quiet, 66-dBA Horizon Ultra cabin.
A New Combine & Alternative Power
Besides the official reveal of its newest combine harvester on 12 November, New Holland will showcase many other products, technologies, partnerships, and sponsorships at the Agritechnica show. The company will introduce the public to new tractors, harvesters, forage machinery, balers, light construction equipment, and farm implements. Its new aftermarket IntelliView 12 Guidance Kit extends New Holland PLM Intelligence technology to customers of other farm machinery brands.
New Holland’s T4 Electric Power, billed as the first all-electric utility tractor with autonomous features, will take a European stage for the first time at the show. The manufacturer also plans to highlight its new 340-horsepower (250-kilowatt) T7.340 HD with PLM Intelligence as the high-horsepower leading model of its T7 HD tractor range. A T7 Methane Power Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tractor wearing New Holland’s new Clean Blue colour will also grace the fairgrounds.
Showgoers may test-drive alternatively powered New Holland machinery in a designated area outdoors. The machines include the methane-powered tractors, namely the T7.270 Methane Power CNG and T6.180 Methane Power with Dynamic Command transmission. An E25X Cab electric mini excavator and a W40X Cab electric compact wheel loader will also be available for a spin.
