New Holland Introduces New High-Horsepower T7.340 HD With PLM Intelligence
New Holland recently announced a new addition to the T7 HD range, the T7.340 HD with PLM Intelligence. The high-horsepower tractor takes over as the flagship model for the T7 HD range, extending its maximum performance to 340 horsepower (250 kilowatts). The T7.340 HD will debut at the Agritechnica show in Hannover next month.
Top Boy
The new 340-HP tractor combines the best the range has to offer, taking the familiar styling and key features of the 288-HP T7.290 HD and 313-HP T7.315 HD tractors with the new technology of the T7.300 LWB and adding more power. The T7.340 HD is powered by an FPT Industrial ECOBlue HI-eSCR 2 Stage V NEF engine with service intervals of 750 hours. The tractor delivers 1,353 newton-metres (998 pounds-foot) of peak torque and max power of 340 HP under all conditions to perform demanding power take-off (PTO) work. The T7.340 HD also has a large fuel capacity of 630 litres (166 gallons) to go longer between fills.
Equipped with New Holland’s AutoCommand 50-km/h (31-mph) continuously variable transmission (which has been upgraded with a higher-capacity hydro unit, new gears, and a higher-capacity rear differential), the T7.340 HD has a favourable power-to-weight ratio that blends high power with the manoeuvrability of a midsize tractor.
New Technology
The tractor has the latest technology features, including IntelliTurn and Headland Turn Sequencer II, as well as Integrated Large Square Baler Control and Tractor Implement Management for automated steering, headland turns, and implement operation. The SideWinder Ultra armrest, the ISOBUS-compatible IntelliView 12 touchscreen terminal, and the optional second screen provide easy, comfortable control of the tractor’s many systems.
Comfort In The Cab
Operators have improved sound insulation to reduce noise levels to 66 dBA. The optional CentreView tractor data display puts vital information at the centre of the steering wheel at the eye line for easy viewing. Active Comfort Ride cab suspension and improved climate control keep the operator more comfortable in the field and a 360-degree LED lighting package extends the workday when the sun goes down.
