This event formally called the Connacht Sheep Shearing Championship has been running for over 6 years. This is the second year that the event will run at Ballinrobe racecourse. Last year at the event over 4,500 people attended.  We expect that to increase this year as we are including a large farm machinery show and also a cattle show. The event will encompass every aspect of agriculture all in one central venue. The venue and timing of this event have been carefully selected as it is at a time of year when agri-professionals are looking ahead and are keen to embrace new ideas. No other event exists locally that features as wide a range of products and services in one place and we anticipate that this event will be extremely popular. The Connacht Spring Show will encompass every aspect of farming life from machinery to cars, 4x4’s, grass care, cattle and dog show. Along with the Connacht International Sheep Shearing Championships there will also be a world Record Sheep Shearing Challenge. So if you’re looking for farm machinery, agricultural equipment or cars and 4x4’s the Connacht spring show is definitely the place to be. Our dog show is one of the most popular in the region and for the fashion conscious we have the leading boutiques showing this years must have ranges in at our fashion show.
